Zoning Board approves signs and garages at February meeting
Zoning Board · Meeting of February 25, 2026
METHUEN — Zoning Board approves four petitions without opposition at Wednesday meeting. Chairman Matthew D'Agostino presided as the board unanimously approved a special permit and variance for a six-by-six-foot monument sign at Aroma Joe's coffee shop at 65 Haverhill Street, citing rear conservation constraints and underground utilities that limited placement options. Homeowner Daniel Pedneault won approval to build a thirty-by-thirty-foot garage at 13 School Street exceeding lot coverage by five percent, and Kevin Keleher secured a variance for a garage addition at 43 Blueberry Lane with support letters from three abutters.
All four votes passed five to zero, with Vice Chairman Nicholas Boucher recusing himself on the Keleher petition due to a conflict of interest.
