Methuen Vote-by-Mail Applications Begin Arriving for 2026 Elections
METHUEN — Vote-by-mail applications for the 2026 State Primary and State Election are landing in Methuen mailboxes this week, giving registered voters a postage-paid option to cast a ballot without visiting the polls in person.
TOWN HALL
The city has begun distributing vote-by-mail applications for both the September primary and the November general election, according to the city's News Flash updates. Eligible voters can use the same postage-paid form to request a ballot for one or both elections. Residents seeking a mailed ballot should note that applications must reach the City Clerk's office by 5 p.m. on August 25.
The mail-ballot push comes as the city separately prepares for a week of early in-person voting later this month, a story the city's News Flash has covered previously.
COMING UP
The Jr. Celtics Academy summer camp runs Monday, August 17, through Friday, August 21, at Phillips Academy in Andover. The Methuen Retirement Board and the Conservation Commission both meet Thursday, August 20, at City Hall. Early in-person voting for the 2026 State Primary opens Saturday, August 22, and runs through Friday, August 28, at Sanborn Hall.
