Methuen Cultural Council finalizes 2026 meeting calendar despite scheduling conflict.

Cultural Council · Meeting of January 12, 2026

Methuen Cultural Council approves 2026 calendar despite member conflict. Chair Ellen Baranowski reported the council voted 6-0 to retain the previously adopted meeting schedule, declining to adjust dates despite a scheduling conflict reported by member Lesly Melendez. The council reviewed 2026 grant approvals and discussed outreach strategy, with members agreeing to research available avenues for reaching residents by the February 9 meeting.

Baranowski is scheduled to meet with Randy Steere of the Methuen Memorial Music Hall to discuss grant decisions and potential March celebration dates.
