Methuen Historic District Commission approves signage and roof projects at high school. The commission unanimously approved replacement of an 80-year-old slate roof at 203 Lawrence Street with Stonegate Gray slate, subject to separate review of light fixtures and signage details. The same address received approval for exterior decorative banners and new signage for Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School, though Commissioner John Hadley dissented, with a final vote of 3-1 in favor.
A third unanimous approval went to a railing and ramp modification at 16 Ditson Place for accessibility compliance.
