Methuen Cultural Council approves April minutes and reviews grant and program status. With five members present, the council reported $3,550 remaining in its grant account after paying out $35,999 of $38,999, with two grants outstanding totaling $2,900. Following a meeting with Mayor Beauregard, the council launched an Instagram account linked to its Facebook page and approved plans for Chair Ellen Baranowski to photograph local landmarks for conversion into coloring pages.
Upcoming May and June events include the Timony and Tenney Grammar School drama clubs, MMMH Music Hall Days, and several performances at the Senior Center.
