Cultural Council approves $4,500 commitment to summer city events.

Methuen Cultural Council votes unanimously to commit $4,500 to summer programming coordinated with the Mayor's office, allocating $1,500 each to June, August, and September activities. Chair Ellen Baranowski reported twelve grant payments issued January 29 with nine more to follow February 19; five recipients remain outstanding on required paperwork. The council established an Engagement/Outreach Subcommittee chaired by Vice Chair Alejandro Baez, with members Olivia Chung and Taana Latu, to strengthen community visibility through social media and collaboration with city departments.
The council approved a $75 banner purchase and a one-year software design subscription, with the banner to debut at the council's March 28 reception at the Methuen Music Hall.
