Methuen Conservation Commission ratifies emergency tree removal and enforces wetland restoration. Chair Matthew Davidson, Vice Chair Dave Di Zazzo, and four commissioners unanimously approved removal of four hazardous trees at 488 Lowell Street under an emergency certification issued by Conservation Officer Chris Parsons, bypassing the standard weeks-long permit process. The commission also issued an enforcement order requiring homeowner Aniberquiz Baez at 2 Muirfield Lane to obtain professional wetland delineation and restore approximately 25 feet of jurisdictional areas altered by unauthorized structures and a wall now removed.
Four other ongoing violation matters were continued to future meetings for progress monitoring.
