Conservation Commission Continues Three Notices of Intent to June 4

Methuen Conservation Commission continued three Notices of Intent and ratified emergency tree and beaver dam removal certificates. Chair Dave Di Zazzo oversaw the May 21 hybrid meeting, during which the Commission appointed Tighe & Bond as peer review consultant for the Brook Street Culvert Replacement Project and approved amended and new Orders of Conditions for properties at 9 River Street and 29 Oak Street, with the latter contingent on performance bond establishment. The Commission ratified Emergency Certificate #26-007 for hazardous tree removal at 9 Cardinal Road with one abstention (Commissioner Seaman recused) and unanimously ratified Emergency Certificate #26-008 for beaver dam breaching at Howe Street and 64 Maple Street.
Multiple enforcement and violation orders across seven properties were continued for ongoing restoration monitoring through June, August, and September.
