Conservation Commission · Meeting of June 4, 2026

Methuen Conservation Commission continued four permit hearings and voted unanimously to lift one violation. Chair Dave Di Zazzo led the panel in continuing Notices of Intent for 11 Cross Street, 109 North Street, the Transmission Line Asset Condition Refurbishment Project, and the Brook Street Culvert to June 18, 2026, with Conservation Officer Chris Parsons citing peer review completion and consultant meetings. The Commission unanimously lifted the Notice of Violation at 64 Sycamore Road issued to Stephen Tarquinio after Parsons confirmed successful wetland revegetation.

Twelve other violation and enforcement matters remain under monitoring through the growing season, with continuation dates ranging from August through October. City Councilor Ryan DiZoglio presented progress on Bird Sanctuary trail improvements in coordination with staff.
