METHUEN — Conservation Commission closed three Notice of Intent public hearings on infrastructure and residential projects. Chair David DiZazzo and the commission voted unanimously to close hearings on the Brook Street Culvert replacement project, which proposes a 9.5-foot precast concrete culvert and stream restoration despite not meeting one of six applicable stream-crossing standards. A transmission line refurbishment project hearing was also closed pending receipt of revised impact calculations and a revised wetland permit form.

The commission released bonds totaling approximately $203,100 for completed projects and lifted three Enforcement Orders and Notices of Violation for properties in compliance. The commission adopted a new Roles and Responsibilities Guide and deferred a vote on a proposed three-minute public-comment rule.
