METHUEN — Conservation Commission approves garage and deck project, adopts tree guideline. Chair Matthew Davidson and Commissioners Dave Di Zazzo, Sandra Boulay, and Rachel Lecher unanimously issued a Negative 3 Determination for a two-car garage with living space, deck replacement, and driveway widening at 154 Butternut Lane, finding the work will not encroach on wetlands. The Commission also unanimously adopted a guideline drafted by Conservation Officer Chris Parsons and absent Commissioner Ken Sateriale to standardize tree-removal requests in jurisdictional areas.
A Certificate of Compliance was issued for 14 First Ave., and two ongoing violation cases were continued: one at 30 Brown Court to February 5, 2026, and another at 134 Meriline Ave. to March 5, 2026.
