METHUEN — Community Development Board endorses plans, continues Cross Street hearing. The board unanimously authorized Chairman Stephen DeFeo to endorse final plans for the 47 Lowell Street historic preservation special permit after the applicant submitted required landscape plan revisions, a draft historic preservation restriction, and a common driveway easement. The board continued the 11 Cross Street planned residential development hearing to June 10 to allow the Conservation Commission to complete wetland determination and buffer zone review.
Director Kathleen Colwell flagged potential FY 2027 budget impacts, including possible staff layoffs and shortened work weeks pending the mayor's formal submission.
