Methuen Commission on Disability approves $2,000 budget for July 25 Disability Pride Day at YMCA. Chair Brad J. Gosselin and six commissioners voted unanimously to fund the event, tasking members Ms.

Gonzalez and Ms. Lee with recruiting police and fire department participation and sourcing vendors. ADA Coordinator Sandy Almonte reported that a rail trail crosswalk accessibility project is on track for completion by end of July and that Hampstead Street sidewalk installation is underway.

The commission also directed Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Lee to consult Recreation Director Steve Angelo on making school playgrounds accessible, and escalated an ongoing issue with City Hall automated doors to the mayor's office.
